Arlington County Sears Kit Home Renovation 

Huska & Horgan provided civil engineering services for the owner of a historically protected Sears Kit Home built at the beginning of the 20th century. The project consists of a new detached 2-car garage, horizontal addition, and a beautiful stone and brick patio in the back yard. This project was regulated under Arlington County’s LDA 2.0 ordinance. Huska helped the owner navigate through a complicated permit approval process managing historic preservation requirements, building & zoning regulations, and strict stormwater management regulations.
